Dawn E. Ringel, President and CEO

Dawn Ringel, President and CEO of Ringel PR, is passionate about the role that public relations plays in the success of her clients–from fast-growth companies seeking to upend an industry, to nonprofits galvanizing support for an important cause.

What really gets her juices flowing? Helping clients lead the conversation on news as it unfolds, or mastering the complex, nuanced information needed to persuade journalists to cover a story.

Dawn has launched companies and elevated their visibility through tier-one media including The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, Bloomberg Businessweek, Forbes, Financial Times, Inc., Investor’s Business Daily, Associated Press, Reuters, CNBC, Fox Business, and USA Today. Her ghostwritten bylined articles, blogs, and op-eds have appeared in CFO, Entrepreneur, IndustryWeek, and scores of other vertical and general business media outlets.

With more than 20 years of success securing this top-tier coverage, Dawn opened her own firm in 2018 to do what she loves most. Her goal is to deliver unmatched, hands-on service from a seasoned expert–creating true value for her clients.

Dawn holds an M.S. in public relations from Boston University’s College of Communication. She earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology, magna cum laude and with distinction in the major, from Connecticut College. There, she was also honored with election to Phi Beta Kappa in her junior year.

When not communicating on behalf of her clients, Dawn enjoys reading, travel, art museums, choral music, and staying on top of the news.

For an innovative distributor, Dawn spearheaded a corporate launch program that resulted in an initial feature in The Wall Street Journal, followed by coverage in and Bloomberg Television. This immediately elevated the company’s national thought leadership, a coveted position for a startup to be in.

For a B2B information firm, Dawn led an annual survey program that made the company a go-to business media source, with coverage in Bloomberg Businessweek, CBS Radio, Fortune, Financial Times, Forbes, National Review, Nightly Business Report, and more. The program also resulted in hundreds of downloads of the research from the sponsor’s website from potential prospects.

For an analyst firm, Dawn hit the phones the minute major business news broke, “24/7”—resulting in international commentary as stories were still unfolding.

Dawn’s leadership was central to the success of a global recognition program for Millennials that is now regularly cited by media and analysts as a benchmark. The comprehensive media relations and marketing communications program further strengthened the reputations of its two leading sponsors.

For a major private equity/venture capital firm, and private companies involved in liquidity events, Dawn was a key partner—developing messaging and FAQs, writing press releases, providing spokesperson media coaching, pre-pitching targeted media, and achieving national business news placements.

Dawn has led the promotion of national and international conferences in targeted B2B segments.
